When Is a DN15 Heat Meter the Right Choice?

DN15 corresponds to a 1/2-inch pipe size. The DN15 models on our site have a nominal flow rate (Qn) of 1.5 m³/h, a body length of 110 mm and a 3/4” connection thread. The size is determined not by the pipe size but by the design flow rate of the apartment: DN15 can be considered if the calculated flow rate is clearly below 2.5 m³/h, the nominal flow rate of DN20. If you are replacing an existing DN15 meter, make sure the 110 mm body length matches and check the qp value on the old meter’s label; manufacturers may also make different nominal flow rates in the same size.
