This notice summarizes how NOVUS ENERJİ SİSTEMLERİ TİCARET LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ (Novus Energy) processes personal data, in accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, for customers and visitors in the European Union and European Economic Area, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). 2. What we process and why

• Identity and contact data (name, company, e-mail, phone, addresses) to manage your account, quotes, orders, deliveries and communications.
• Transaction data (orders, invoices, payment status, returns and warranty requests) to perform the contract and meet our accounting, tax and customs obligations.
• Technical data (IP address, login records, cookies, analytics data) to keep the website secure and to improve it.
• Marketing preferences to send you news and offers, only with your consent.

3. Legal bases

We process personal data because it is necessary for the conclusion or performance of a contract, to comply with legal obligations, to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, for our legitimate interests provided your fundamental rights are not harmed, or on the basis of your explicit consent (for example for non-essential cookies and marketing messages). You may withdraw your consent at any time.

4. Transfers

Personal data may be shared, to the extent necessary, with our e-commerce platform and hosting providers (IdeaSoft), banks and payment providers, carriers and customs brokers, accounting service providers, manufacturers for warranty matters, legal advisors and competent authorities. Your data is processed in Türkiye; where data is transferred abroad, this is done in accordance with KVKK Article 9 and, where applicable, the GDPR, using appropriate safeguards.

5. Retention

Data is kept only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and for the periods required by law, for example 10 years for commercial books and records under Turkish law. It is then deleted, destroyed or anonymized.

6. Your rights

Under KVKK Article 11 you have the right to:

• learn whether your personal data is processed, and request information about it;
• learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used in line with that purpose;
• know the third parties to whom your data is transferred in Türkiye or abroad;
• request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data;
• request deletion or destruction of your data under the conditions of KVKK Article 7;
• request that corrections and deletions are notified to the third parties to whom the data was transferred;
• object to a result against you that arises solely from automated analysis;
• claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

If the GDPR applies to you, you also have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to complain to the data protection authority of your country of residence or work.

Please include your name, surname, nationality and passport or national ID number (for Turkish citizens, the T.C. identity number), your address for correspondence, your e-mail address or phone number if available, and the subject of your request. We respond free of charge within 30 days at the latest; if the request involves additional cost, a fee set by the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board may be charged. If your request is rejected, the answer is insufficient or no answer is given in time, you may file a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board; if you are in the EU or EEA, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
