Manifold Builder
Build a PP-R or Stainless Steel Manifold
Build your manifold step by step: choose the header diameter and length, place the branches by dimensioning them from the left or right, and tick the options. Your selections are instantly turned into a technical drawing: dimension chain, parts list with product codes and a 3D model. You can download the drawing as a PDF or request a quote. The price is calculated per project based on header size, length, number of branches and connection type.
How does the builder work?
- 1HeaderMaterial, header diameter and length, pressure class, inlet and end termination. If you leave the length blank, it is calculated from the branch layout.
- 2BranchesUse “Add series” to place outlets of the same diameter in one go; change the diameter, direction and center dimension of each row individually.
- 3OptionsTick extras such as valves, pressure gauge/thermometer sockets, supports and insulation, and add your project notes.
- 4Quote summaryDownload the technical drawing, rotate the 3D model, copy the summary or send it via WhatsApp.
What does the builder produce?
- Dimension chain and section A-A
- Parts list and title block
- Scale 1:10 – 1:100, automatic
- Header, branches, valves and supports
- Rotate and zoom with the mouse
- Downloadable as PNG
- All selections item by item
- You can attach your drawing
- We reply with price and lead time
Why does the cross-section check matter?
A manifold's job is to slow down the incoming flow and distribute it evenly. That is why the cross-sectional area of the main header is chosen to be at least 1.5 times the total cross-sectional area of all branches. The builder calculates this ratio with every change and suggests the next larger header diameter if the ratio drops too low. A larger header diameter lowers the velocity, reduces pressure loss and noise, and balances the distribution between branches.
A_header ≥ 1.5 × ΣA_branchHeader cross-sectional area is at least 1.5 times the total cross-sectional area of all branches.v = Q / (3600 × A) → 1.0 – 1.5 m/sHigher velocity increases pressure loss and noise; lower velocity means the header is unnecessarily large.Q_heat = m × c × ΔT (ΔT = 20 K)Capacity values are calculated on this assumption; the final selection is based on the system design calculation.Symbols in the drawing
- Top / bottom outlet: a branch rising perpendicular from the top or bottom surface of the header.
- Front / rear outlet: a branch coming out of the side surface; shown as a circle in the diagram (filled circle = front, open circle = rear).
- Red arrow: inlet (supply) direction into the manifold.
- End termination: drawn as a blind plug, dished cap, flange, weld end or thread.
- Dimension chain: branch centers are given in mm from the left or the right.
- Section A - A: end view showing the header wall thickness and branch layout.
Which material should it be made of?
We manufacture the manifold ourselves: the header pipe is cut to size, branch openings are made, welded/fused joints are completed, the ends are closed, and the manifold is delivered after a pressure test. The choice of material depends on the medium and temperature.

Frequently asked questions
Should I dimension the branches from the left or the right?
Either works. In each row, choose left or right in the “Reference” column and enter the center dimension in mm; the diagram and quote summary update accordingly. Use the end from which you took your site measurement.
Can I change the number of branches later?
Yes. Use “+ Add single branch” to add a row, ✕ to delete one, and “Add series” to add a new series. The diameter, connection, direction and dimension of each row are independent; the diagram and summary update instantly.
Why is no price shown?
Because the manifold price depends on header diameter, length, number and diameter of branches, connection type and options, it is calculated per project; your selections become a quote summary, and we send you the price and lead time.
Do I have to enter the header length?
Only if you want to. If you leave it blank, an approximate length is calculated from the branch layout and end allowances; the final length is determined from your dimensioned drawing.
When will other materials be added?
The builder is currently available for PP-R and stainless steel manifolds; HDPE, hot-dip galvanized and black steel manifolds are being added one by one. For these materials you can send your dimensions via WhatsApp and get a quote.
How can I send my drawing?
Attach it to a WhatsApp message as a photo or PDF. A hand-drawn dimensioned sketch is also fine.
