DN300 is the largest heat meter size on our site; it is used at the outlets of district heating plants and on the main header lines of very large facilities.

DN300 Heat Meter Dimensions

DN300 corresponds to a 12-inch pipe size and is the largest size in the manufacturer’s IUF ultrasonic flow sensor series. For this size, the ZENNER data sheet gives a nominal flow rate (qp) of 600 m³/h, a maximum flow rate of 1,200 m³/h, a minimum flow rate of 6 m³/h, a body length of 450 mm or 500 mm and pressure class PN16. The unpacked weight is approximately 67–89 kg depending on the body length. For this size, the manufacturer gives a pressure loss of 54 mbar at nominal flow, a flange outer diameter of 460 mm and 12 bolts. At this size, selection is based on the project calculations; we recommend requesting a quote with the design flow rate, the operating pressure and the existing flange dimensions.
