GF+ Aquasystem PP-R Welding Dies (Moulds) — Teflon-coated male–female heating moulds (dies) mounted on the PP-R welding machine. One side heats the outer surface of the pipe while the other heats the socket of the fitting at the same time.

Values per DVS 2207-11 at +20 °C ambient and 260 °C heating tool temperature. Below +5 °C, extend the heating time by about 50%. Heating time starts when pipe and fitting are fully seated on the heating dies; during the joining time the parts may be aligned axially without twisting.
Frequently asked questions
When should a die be replaced?
It should be replaced when the Teflon coating is scratched or melt starts to stick; otherwise weld quality drops.
How are the dies cleaned?
While the machine is hot, with a wooden spatula or a cotton cloth; do not scrape with metal tools.
