GF+ Aquasystem PP-R Flange Adapter
GF+ Aquasystem PP-R Flange Adapter — A flange adapter (stub flange) welded to the pipe, used to connect large-diameter Aquasystem lines to flanged valves, pumps, heat exchangers and equipment. It connects to the mating side with a loose (backing) flange.

Values per DVS 2207-11 at +20 °C ambient and 260 °C heating tool temperature. Below +5 °C, extend the heating time by about 50%. Heating time starts when pipe and fitting are fully seated on the heating dies; during the joining time the parts may be aligned axially without twisting.
Installation tips
- Cut the pipe square with a pipe cutter and mark the welding depth on the pipe.
- Push pipe and fitting onto the heating dies at the same time without twisting; when the heating time is over, join them quickly and axially.
- Do not twist the parts after the joining time; do not pressurize the line before the cooling time has passed.
- When tightening a threaded joint, hold the brass part with a wrench; do not apply torque to the PP-R body. Use hemp or sealing tape on the thread.
- Pressure-test the installation before closing walls or screed.

The product is a welded flange adapter; the steel backing flange and gasket are selected separately. Determine the flange size according to the DN/PN values of the mating equipment.
