GF+ Aquasystem PP-R Fiberglass Reinforced (Faser) Pipe SDR6 (PN25)
GF+ Aquasystem PP-R Fiberglass Reinforced (Faser) Pipe SDR6 (PN25) — The thick-walled, PN25 version of the three-layer Aquasystem Faser pipe. The fiberglass reinforced middle layer reduces thermal expansion; the SDR6 wall provides an extra safety margin under high pressure and temperature.
Applications
- Hot water and heating risers in high-rise buildings
- Lines with high operating pressure
- Boiler room and heating substation connections
Key features
- SDR6 thick wall, PN25 pressure rating
- Fiberglass middle layer: low thermal expansion
- Welded with standard PP-R fittings without peeling

Values per DVS 2207-11 at +20 °C ambient and 260 °C heating tool temperature. Below +5 °C, extend the heating time by about 50%. Heating time starts when pipe and fitting are fully seated on the heating dies; during the joining time the parts may be aligned axially without twisting.
Installation tips
- Cut the pipe square with a pipe cutter and mark the welding depth on the pipe.
- Push pipe and fitting onto the heating dies at the same time without twisting; when the heating time is over, join them quickly and axially.
- Do not twist the parts after the joining time; do not pressurize the line before the cooling time has passed.
- Pressure-test the installation before closing walls or screed.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between SDR6 and SDR7.4?
SDR6 has a thicker wall and a higher pressure rating (PN25); SDR7.4 offers a larger bore at the same outside diameter (PN20).
How is the pipe sold?
Pipes are produced in 4 m lengths; they are sold by the meter in multiples of 4 m.
