GF+ Aquasystem PP-R Crossover Faucet Connection (Double) 25 mm - 1/2″
GF+ Aquasystem PP-R Crossover Faucet Connection (Double) 25 mm - 1/2″ — A faucet connection with mounting lugs and a pass-through line: thanks to its two welding sockets, the line passes through the connection point and continues, while the fixture is fed from the brass female-threaded outlet on top.
Applications
- Faucet and fixture outlets in ring (series) distribution
- Washbasin, shower and appliance connections
- Pass-through outlets that must be fixed to the wall
Key features
- Line inlet, line outlet and threaded outlet in one body
- Screw mounting lugs
- Nickel-plated brass female thread (BSPP-G), PN25

d: pipe outside diameter (mm) · DN: nominal size · G: thread size (inch, BSPP – ISO 228) · PN: nominal pressure (bar, 20 °C) · D: body outside diameter (mm) · L1: socket depth (mm) · LB: overall length (mm). Dimensions from the GF Piping Systems data sheet; the technical drawing in the product images shows where each dimension applies.
Socket fusion welding times
| Pipe diameter | Welding depth (mm) | Heating (s) | Joining time (s) | Cooling (min) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ø25 | 15 | 7 | 4 | 2 |
Values per DVS 2207-11 at +20 °C ambient and 260 °C heating tool temperature. Below +5 °C, extend the heating time by about 50%. Heating time starts when pipe and fitting are fully seated on the heating dies; during the joining time the parts may be aligned axially without twisting.
Installation tips
- Cut the pipe square with a pipe cutter and mark the welding depth on the pipe.
- Push pipe and fitting onto the heating dies at the same time without twisting; when the heating time is over, join them quickly and axially.
- Do not twist the parts after the joining time; do not pressurize the line before the cooling time has passed.
- When tightening a threaded joint, hold the brass part with a wrench; do not apply torque to the PP-R body. Use hemp or sealing tape on the thread.
- Pressure-test the installation before closing walls or screed.
Frequently asked questions
What is the advantage of ring (series) distribution?
Because each fixture is fed from both sides, dead legs where water stagnates are reduced and pressure balance improves.
