GF+ Aquasystem PP-R Ball Valve
GF+ Aquasystem PP-R Ball Valve — A full-bore ball valve with a quarter-turn lever and a PP-R body. Since the cross-section does not narrow when open, pressure loss is very low; it provides fast and reliable line shut-off.

Values per DVS 2207-11 at +20 °C ambient and 260 °C heating tool temperature. Below +5 °C, extend the heating time by about 50%. Heating time starts when pipe and fitting are fully seated on the heating dies; during the joining time the parts may be aligned axially without twisting.
Installation tips
- Cut the pipe square with a pipe cutter and mark the welding depth on the pipe.
- Push pipe and fitting onto the heating dies at the same time without twisting; when the heating time is over, join them quickly and axially.
- Do not twist the parts after the joining time; do not pressurize the line before the cooling time has passed.
- Pressure-test the installation before closing walls or screed.

Is it suitable for throttling flow?
A ball valve is meant to operate fully open or fully closed; for continuous throttling, a balancing valve is preferred.
