Siemens STA Thermal (Thermoelectric) Valve Actuator
The Siemens STA series are quiet thermoelectric actuators that push the valve stem by means of a heated expansion element. They are normally closed (NC) when de-energized; with 100–125 N positioning force and a 4–6.5 mm stroke, they are used on zone valves, small control valves and pressure-independent valves.
The STA321 models are for AC 230 V on/off control, while the STA161.65L10 has an AC/DC 24 V supply and modulating control with a DC 0…10 V signal. The valve connection and compatible valve bodies are listed below.

Selection and installation notes
- The actuator's actuating force and stroke must match the close-off pressure and stroke of the valve it is fitted to.
