Siemens VD1…CLC 2-Way Small Control Valve PN10
The Siemens VD1…CLC series are 2-way small control valves with a nickel-plated body and pressure rating PN10. They are available in sizes DN15–DN25; on the VD115CLC the kv value is adjustable between 0.25 and 1.9 m³/h, while the VD120CLC and VD125CLC have a kvs of 2.6 m³/h. Thanks to the 2.5 mm stroke, they work with compact thermal and electromotive actuators. Medium temperature range is 1…110 °C.
The valve body does not work on its own: an actuator is mounted on it, and the actuator is controlled by a room thermostat or a building automation system. The list below shows the actuators verified for this series according to Siemens compatibility data.

Selection and installation notes
- The kvs value is selected according to the required pressure drop across the valve at the design flow rate; an oversized kvs reduces control quality.
- When selecting the actuator, choose an actuating force suited to the valve's stroke and close-off differential pressure.
- For glycol-water mixtures or special media, verify the valve's media compatibility in the datasheet.
