Siemens RAA21 / RAA31 Electromechanical Room Thermostat
The Siemens RAA series are battery-free electromechanical room thermostats with a setpoint range of 8…30 °C. With an SPDT relay output, they switch a boiler, burner, pump, zone valve or thermal actuator on and off; they can be used in heating or cooling applications.
The RAA21 is the basic model; the RAA31 additionally has an on/off switch for shutting down the system.

Selection and installation notes
- The thermostat must be selected to match the voltage and output type of the device it controls (combi boiler, actuator, fan coil).
- For accurate sensor readings, the thermostat is mounted approximately 1.5 m above the floor, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
