NVS AISI 316 Stainless Steel Mini Ball Valve (Male-Female)
NVS AISI 316 stainless steel mini ball valve: BSP male thread on one end, BSP female thread on the other (ISO 228). Size range: ¼″–1″ (5 sizes). This small-bore ball valve has a short hex-profile body that fits into tight spaces; because one end is male-threaded, it screws directly into a female outlet without an extra nipple.
AISI 316 (1.4401) is a molybdenum-alloyed stainless steel. It resists chloride media, sea water and chemicals significantly better than grade 304 and is recommended for swimming pools, coastal sites, chemical plants and outdoor use.

Selection and installation notes
- Use PTFE tape or a thread sealant; do not over-tighten stainless threads, as this can cause galling (cold welding).
- This is an on/off valve; do not use it for throttling in a partly open position.
- Grade 316 contains molybdenum and resists chloride media and sea water better than 304.
- Direct contact between stainless steel and galvanized or carbon steel can cause galvanic corrosion; use insulation (washers, unions) between different metals.
