NVS AISI 304 Stainless Steel Mini Ball Valve (Male-Female)
NVS AISI 304 stainless steel mini ball valve: BSP male thread on one end, BSP female thread on the other (ISO 228). Size range: ¼″–¾″ (4 sizes). This small-diameter ball valve has a short hexagonal body that fits in tight spaces; because one end has a male thread, it screws directly into a female-threaded outlet without an extra nipple.
AISI 304 (1.4301) is a general-purpose chromium-nickel stainless steel. It is widely used in water, heating and cooling, compressed air, food processing and indoor and outdoor applications.

Selection and installation notes
- Use PTFE tape or a thread sealant; do not over-tighten stainless threads, as this can cause galling (cold welding).
- This is an on/off valve; do not use it for throttling in a partly open position.
- Choose grade 316 where sea water, salty environments or chloride-containing cleaning chemicals are present.
- AISI 304 is intended for general use; choose AISI 316 for chloride media, sea water and swimming pool applications.
- Direct contact between stainless steel and galvanized or carbon steel can cause galvanic corrosion; use insulation (washers, unions) between different metals.
