NVS AISI 304 Stainless Steel Threaded Rod (Fully Threaded) DIN 975
NVS AISI 304 stainless steel threaded rod: rod threaded end to end, metric thread. Size range: M3–M52 · 1000–2000 mm (41 sizes). This rod is threaded from end to end; it is sold in meter lengths, cut as needed and used with nuts and washers. It is also known as a stud bar or all-thread rod.
AISI 304 (1.4301) is a general-purpose chromium-nickel stainless steel. It is widely used in water, heating and cooling, compressed air, food processing and indoor and outdoor applications.

Selection and installation notes
- A burr remains on the cut end; file the end and clean the threads before fitting a nut.
- Stainless steel threads can gall (cold weld); lubricate the thread and tighten at low speed.
- A2 (304) is suitable for fresh water, indoor and food environments; in sea water, chlorine and acidic environments, choose A4 (316).
- Direct contact between stainless steel and galvanized or carbon steel can cause galvanic corrosion; use insulation (washers, unions) between different metals.
