NVS AISI 304 Stainless Steel Spring Lock Washer DIN 127
NVS AISI 304 stainless steel spring lock washer: split, spring-shaped, center hole. Size range: M3–M30 (15 sizes). This washer works like a spring thanks to its single split. When tightened, its spring-back force makes it harder for the bolt and nut joint to loosen.
AISI 304 (1.4301) is a general-purpose chromium-nickel stainless steel. It is widely used in water, heating and cooling, compressed air, food processing and indoor and outdoor applications.

Selection and installation notes
- A split spring washer is a supplementary measure against loosening; on a critical joint it is not sufficient on its own.
- Do not seat it directly on a soft surface; place a flat washer underneath so it does not dent the surface.
- Choose the bolt, nut and washer in the same grade; mixing grades upsets the corrosion balance of the joint.
- AISI 304 is intended for general use; choose AISI 316 for chloride media, sea water and swimming pool applications.
- Direct contact between stainless steel and galvanized or carbon steel can cause galvanic corrosion; use insulation (washers, unions) between different metals.
