NVS AISI 304 Stainless Steel Butt-Weld Equal Tee
The NVS AISI 304 stainless steel butt-weld tee has butt-weld ends, equal tee and is available in 14 sizes from 1/2″–12″. Takes an equal-size branch from a welded stainless pipeline.
AISI 304 (1.4301) is a general-purpose chromium-nickel stainless steel, widely used for drinking and domestic water, hot water, heating and cooling circuits, compressed air and food plants.

Selection and installation notes
- 304 or 316? General purpose; water, heating and cooling, compressed air and food plants. For chloride-containing media, sea water or swimming pools choose AISI 316.
- For welded joints use stainless pipe of the same grade and a suitable filler wire; clean the surface after welding (pickling / passivation).
- Joining stainless steel directly to galvanized or carbon steel pipe can cause galvanic corrosion; a dielectric (insulating) union is recommended between different metals.
