Ø110 mm HDPE Manifold is an HDPE (PE100) manifold made from a Ø110 mm body with a 90 mm internal diameter, with a project-specific length and branch layout. At a water velocity of 1.0–1.5 m/s it is suitable for flow rates of 22.9 – 34.4 m³/h and, at ΔT = 20 K, a thermal output of 533 – 799 kW. Branch sizes, outlet directions and connection type are specified with the order.

What capacity is a Ø110 mm manifold suitable for?
With a body inner diameter of 90 mm, the cross-sectional area is 0.0064 m². Using Q = A × v × 3600, the recommended flow rate is 22.9 – 34.4 m³/h; with P = Q × 1.163 × ΔT, the thermal capacity at ΔT = 20 K is 533 – 799 kW. If your heating circuit runs at ΔT 15 K, capacity drops by about one quarter.
Number of branches suitable for this body
The manifold body cross-section is selected to be at least 1.5 times the total cross-sectional area of the branches. For a Ø110 mm body, this rule gives the following upper limits:

Connection and end options

The body ends are closed with blind plugs, dished caps, flanges, weld ends or threaded ends. Ball/butterfly valves, pressure gauge–thermometer pockets, drain valves, air vent connections, support legs and brackets are added on request.
