Klepsan KVS-S Series

The Klepsan KVS-S series are dry-dial, multi-jet mechanical hot water meters manufactured by Klepsan in Istanbul, available in sizes from DN15 to DN50. KVS-2S is the DN20 model of the series with a 190 mm body length.

Water enters the measuring chamber through multiple jets and turns the impeller. In the dry-dial mechanism, the roller register does not come into contact with water, and consumption is read directly from the rollers.

Installation, Reading and Re-verification

The meter is installed in the hot water line in the horizontal position specified by the manufacturer, with the arrow on the body pointing in the direction of water flow. Use meter unions of the correct size for the connection; a strainer upstream of the meter and an isolating valve before and after it make maintenance and replacement easier.
