Klepsan Woltman Water Meters

Woltman-type meters are flanged, turbine-type mechanical meters used to measure high flow rates in large-diameter lines. This product is the DN150 (6”) model.
In a Woltman meter, the water turns a turbine aligned with the pipe axis; this design is suited to measuring large flow rates with low pressure loss. The meter is connected to the pipework by the flanges at both ends.

Installation, Reading and Re-verification
Install the meter between mating flanges of the same nominal size, with gaskets, so that the arrow on its body points in the direction of water flow; the number and size of the bolts must match the values in the table. A strainer upstream of the meter and an isolating valve before and after it make maintenance and replacement easier.
