Standard for manufacture and use: EN 10242:1994

TRAKYA DÖKÜM BLACK SOCKET
Designation: According to the material and thread type selected for production, Td fittings are designated as class A fittings, which indicates the following.
1 - 1- Manufactured from high-quality B 350-10 blackheart malleable cast iron
2 - 2- Threads are cut according to ISO 7/1, i.e. parallel internal thread (Rp) and taper external thread (R)

APPLICATION: All Td fittings are suitable for conveying gas, steam and compressed air at up to 25 bar and temperatures up to 120°C, or below 20 bar at temperatures between 120°C and 300°C.
DIMENSIONS: All Td fittings are manufactured to the specifications of EN 10242.
INSPECTION: All Td fittings are inspected for conformity with the specifications of EN 10242.
MARKING: Where possible, all Td fittings are marked with the Td brand and/or the nominal size designation.
GALVANIZING: Td fittings can be supplied black or galvanized, as requested by the customer. As specified in EN 10242, the zinc coating weight must be at least 500 g/m², corresponding to an average coating thickness of 70 µm. Both surface types are coated with an anti-corrosion varnish. The surface of Td fittings is free of aromatic hydrocarbons.
TRAKYA DÖKÜM BLACK SOCKET LEAK TEST: In accordance with EN 10424, every Td fitting is tested under a hydrostatic pressure of at least 20 bar, equivalent to a pneumatic pressure of min. 5 bar.
