Siemens VBI60 Internally Threaded 3-Way Diverting Ball Valve PN40
The Siemens VBI60 series are 3-way ball valves with a DZR (dezincification-resistant) brass body and internal thread (Rp). In sizes DN15–DN50, with kvs values of 12–73 m³/h and pressure rating PN40, they are used to divert flow between two outlets (changeover) in heating, cooling and air conditioning circuits. Medium temperature range is -10…120 °C.
The quarter-turn (90°) ball valve is driven directly by Siemens GDB/GLB rotary actuators; on/off (2/3-position) or DC 0…10 V modulating control depends on the actuator selected. Compatible actuators are listed below.

Selection and installation notes
- The kvs value is selected according to the required pressure drop across the valve at the design flow rate; an oversized kvs reduces control quality.
- When selecting the actuator, choose an actuating force suited to the valve's stroke and close-off differential pressure.
- For glycol-water mixtures or special media, verify the valve's media compatibility in the datasheet.
