NVS - Straight Two-Way Hose Connector Union
Thanks to its barbed design, it secures flexible pipes; an internally threaded metal fitting,
designed to secure the fitting to products such as manifolds and valves.
The Straight Two-Way Hose Connector Union is used to join two straight-ended hoses quickly and leak-tight, a task commonly performed by fire crews, industrial installers and agricultural irrigation crews. Fast, leak-tight hose coupling is a skill frequently practiced in vocational skills competitions and emergency response training.
Technical Details of the Union
- Standard Equipment:
- 2 pcs straight-ended hoses (usually 1" or 1.5" diameter)
- Connecting element: Brass coupling, double-threaded sleeve or Storz-type quick coupling
- Gasket and clamp (if there is no quick-release system)
- Coupling Criteria:
- Time: Under 3–5 seconds for professionals (with quick-release systems)
- Validity: The hose must be leak-tight in the pressure test
- Fair conditions: Hoses of the same diameter and standard fittings must be used
