NVS - Economy Chrome-Plated 1/2 Extension
Economy Chrome-Plated 1/2" Extension is a fitting generally used in piping, plumbing or hydraulic/pneumatic systems. This product is marketed as an extension piece that is low-cost but chrome-plated (decorative or corrosion-resistant).
Features and Applications:
- Size and Standard:
- Produced in 1/2 inch (half-inch) size, usually to the BSP (British Standard Pipe) or NPT (National Pipe Thread) thread standard.
- Extension length may vary (e.g. 50 mm, 100 mm, etc.).
- Chrome Plating:
- The outer surface has a bright chrome plating for decorative purposes.
- Although not as durable as stainless steel, it provides resistance to moisture and mild corrosion.

- Preferred in low-budget projects (domestic plumbing, non-pressurized systems).
- Wall thickness and material quality may not be suitable for high-pressure systems.
