NVS AISI 316 Stainless Steel Pressed Flange DIN 2642
NVS AISI 316 stainless steel pressed flange: pressed from sheet, with collar. Size range: ½″–8″ (12 sizes). This flange is press-formed from sheet and has a collar; it is noticeably lighter than a slip-on flange of the same size.
AISI 316 (1.4401) is a molybdenum-alloyed stainless steel. It resists chloride media, sea water and chemicals significantly better than grade 304 and is recommended for swimming pools, coastal sites, chemical plants and outdoor use.

Selection and installation notes
- This flange is rated PN10; for higher-pressure lines choose a slip-on or weld neck flange.
- The hole pattern and PN class must match the mating flange; check the bolt circle diameter in the size table.
- Grade 316 contains molybdenum and resists chloride media and sea water better than 304.
- Direct contact between stainless steel and galvanized or carbon steel can cause galvanic corrosion; use insulation (washers, unions) between different metals.
