NVS AISI 316 Stainless Steel Slip-On Flange DIN 2576
NVS AISI 316 stainless steel slip-on flange: slips over the pipe and is welded, raised face (RF). Size range: ½″–24″ (19 sizes). This flat flange slips over the pipe end, is welded in place and has a raised sealing face; it joins pipes, valves and pumps with a bolted connection.
AISI 316 (1.4401) is a molybdenum-alloyed stainless steel. It resists chloride media, sea water and chemicals significantly better than grade 304 and is recommended for swimming pools, coastal sites, chemical plants and outdoor use.

Selection and installation notes
- The mating flange must have the same PN class and bolt pattern; compare the bolt circle diameter and bolt hole diameter in the size table.
- After welding, clean the area by pickling and passivation; watch for galvanic corrosion when joining to a carbon steel mating flange.
- Grade 316 contains molybdenum and resists chloride media and sea water better than 304.
