NVS AISI 316 (A4-70) Stainless Steel Lifting Eye Bolt DIN 580
NVS AISI 316 (A4-70) stainless steel lifting eye bolt: ring-head lifting bolt, metric thread. Size range: M6–M27 (8 sizes). This bolt has a ring-shaped head and is used to create a lifting and securing point. A chain, rope or hook is attached through the ring.
AISI 316 (1.4401) is a molybdenum-alloyed stainless steel. It resists chloride media, sea water and chemicals significantly better than grade 304 and is recommended for swimming pools, coastal sites, chemical plants and outdoor use.

Selection and installation notes
- Tighten until the base face seats fully; the ring must be in the same plane as the load direction. Loading perpendicular to the ring plane carries a risk of breakage.
- Load capacity depends on thread diameter and load angle; check the DIN 580 load table before use.
- A4 (316) is the right choice in sea water, chlorine and acidic environments; for fresh water and indoor use, A2 (304) is more economical.
- Direct contact between stainless steel and galvanized or carbon steel can cause galvanic corrosion; use insulation (washers, unions) between different metals.
