NVS AISI 304 Stainless Steel Weld Neck Flange DIN 2633
NVS AISI 304 stainless steel weld neck flange: butt-weld neck, raised face (RF). Size range: ½″–12″ (14 sizes). This weld neck flange is butt-welded to the pipe end, and its neck transfers stress into the pipe; it is preferred on high-pressure lines and lines with vibration.
AISI 304 (1.4301) is a general-purpose chromium-nickel stainless steel. It is widely used in water, heating and cooling, compressed air, food processing and indoor and outdoor applications.

Selection and installation notes
- The neck end is butt-welded to the pipe; prepare a weld bevel to suit the pipe wall thickness.
- The mating flange must have the same PN class and bolt hole pattern.
- Where sea water, salty environments or chloride cleaning chemicals are present, choose grade 316.
- AISI 304 is intended for general use; choose AISI 316 for chloride media, sea water and swimming pool applications.
- Direct contact between stainless steel and galvanized or carbon steel can cause galvanic corrosion; use insulation (washers, unions) between different metals.
