NVS AISI 304 Stainless Steel Ball Valve (Flanged, 2-Piece)
NVS AISI 304 stainless steel flanged ball valve: flanged on both ends, 2-piece body. Size range: ½″–8″ (12 sizes). This ball valve with flanges on both ends opens and closes with a quarter turn of the lever; it is bolted to flanged lines with gaskets and used for shut-off on medium and large diameter lines.
AISI 304 (1.4301) is a general-purpose chromium-nickel stainless steel. It is widely used in water, heating and cooling, compressed air, food processing and indoor and outdoor applications.

Selection and installation notes
- The bolt circle and number of holes of the mating flange must match the line flange; check the bolt circle diameter in the size table.
- Tighten the flange bolts in a cross pattern and in stages; lubricating the threads of stainless bolts prevents galling (cold welding).
- Where sea water, salty environments or chloride-containing cleaning chemicals are present, choose grade 316.
- AISI 304 is intended for general use; choose AISI 316 for chloride media, sea water and swimming pool applications.
- Direct contact between stainless steel and galvanized or carbon steel can cause galvanic corrosion; use insulation (washers, unions) between different metals.
