NVS AISI 304 Stainless Steel Ball Valve (Female Thread, 3-Piece)
NVS AISI 304 stainless steel 3-piece ball valve: BSP female thread on both ends (ISO 228), 3-piece body. Size range: ½″–4″ (9 sizes). This ball valve has a three-part body and female threads on both ends; because the body parts can be separated, the ball and seals can be replaced during maintenance.
AISI 304 (1.4301) is a general-purpose chromium-nickel stainless steel. It is widely used in water, heating and cooling, compressed air, food processing and indoor and outdoor applications.

Selection and installation notes
- Use PTFE tape or a thread sealant; do not over-tighten stainless threads, as this can cause galling (cold welding).
- The ball and seals can be replaced after removing the body bolts; release the line pressure before maintenance.
- Where sea water, salty environments or chloride-containing cleaning chemicals are present, choose grade 316.
- AISI 304 is intended for general use; choose AISI 316 for chloride media, sea water and swimming pool applications.
- Direct contact between stainless steel and galvanized or carbon steel can cause galvanic corrosion; use insulation (washers, unions) between different metals.
