NVS AISI 304 Stainless Steel Lifting Eye Nut DIN 582
NVS AISI 304 stainless steel lifting eye nut: lifting nut with ring (eye), female thread. Size range: M6–M30 (9 sizes). This lifting nut has a ring for a hook or rope and a female thread. It is screwed onto a bolt or stud by its threaded hole and creates a load attachment point.
AISI 304 (1.4301) is a general-purpose chromium-nickel stainless steel. It is widely used in water, heating and cooling, compressed air, food processing and indoor and outdoor applications.

Selection and installation notes
- Pull in the plane of the ring and along the axis; side or angled pulls reduce the load capacity.
- In lifting applications, the load capacity depends on size and load direction; verify the capacity separately before use.
- Screw it fully down onto the bolt or stud and lubricate the thread; an eye nut fitted loosely is damaged under load.
- AISI 304 is intended for general use; choose AISI 316 for chloride media, sea water and swimming pool applications.
- Direct contact between stainless steel and galvanized or carbon steel can cause galvanic corrosion; use insulation (washers, unions) between different metals.
