NVS - 3/4 - Blind Extension

The blind extension is an extension piece used in plumbing and piping systems with no passage through it (solid / no visible connection). It is generally used for decorative purposes, mechanical support or installation purposes.

Key Features & Applications:

1. Structural Features:
• Solid or closed design (does not allow liquid/gas to pass).
• Material: Brass, chrome-plated steel, stainless steel or cast aluminum.
• Thread Standards: Made in common sizes such as 1/2" BSP/NPT.
2. Main Uses:
• Decorative Projects: To provide a consistent look in bathroom/kitchen accessories (e.g. wall-mounted fixed grab handles).
• Mechanical Support: To create extra distance in pipelines or reduce vibration.

• Pressure Resistance: Since no liquid/gas passes through it, high pressure resistance is not required.
• Installation: Can be tightened with a standard wrench or Allen key. Overtightening may damage the threads.
