Novus DN125 Stainless Steel Manifold
DN125 Stainless Steel Manifold is a stainless steel manifold made from a DN125 body with a 125 mm internal diameter, with a project-specific length and branch layout. At a water velocity of 1.0–1.5 m/s it is suitable for flow rates of 44.2 – 66.3 m³/h and, at ΔT = 20 K, a thermal output of 1.03 – 1.54 MW. Branch sizes, outlet directions and connection type are specified with the order.

What capacity is a DN125 manifold suitable for?
With a body inner diameter of 125 mm, the cross-sectional area is 0.0123 m². Using Q = A × v × 3600, the recommended flow rate is 44.2 – 66.3 m³/h; using P = Q × 1.163 × ΔT, the thermal capacity at ΔT = 20 K is 1.03 – 1.54 MW. If ΔT in your heating circuit is 15 K, capacity drops by about one quarter.
Number of branches suitable for this body
The cross-sectional area of the manifold body is selected to be at least 1.5 times the total cross-sectional area of the branches. Under this rule, the upper limits for a DN125 body are:
| Branch size | Recommended max. quantity |
|---|---|
| 1½" (DN40) | 6 pcs |
| 2" (DN50) | 4 pcs |
| 2½" (DN65) | 2 pcs |
| 3" (DN80) | 1 pc |
| 4" (DN100) | 1 pc |
Values are based on the cross-section rule only; the exact number depends on the center-to-center spacing, valve/fitting width and body length.
Connection and end options
Outlets can be made with external thread, internal thread, weld end, union, flange or valve; different types can be combined on the same body. The body ends are closed with a blind plug, dished cap, flange, weld end or thread. On request, ball/butterfly valves, pressure gauge/thermometer sockets, a drain valve, an air vent connection, feet and brackets are added.
Made to measure
For a DN125 body, length, number of branches and center-to-center spacing can be produced in any combination. Select the dimensions in the Manifold Builder and a dimensioned A4 technical drawing, a 3D model and a quote summary are prepared instantly; send your drawing via WhatsApp to get a price and lead time.

Frequently asked questions
What capacity is a DN125 manifold suitable for?
A DN125 body suits a flow rate of 44.2 – 66.3 m³/h at a water velocity of 1.0–1.5 m/s. Assuming ΔT = 20 K, this corresponds to a thermal output of about 1.03 – 1.54 MW — roughly a heating plant for 128 apartments. At other ΔT values, capacity changes in direct proportion.
What is the price of a DN125 Stainless Steel Manifold?
The price is project-specific, as it is calculated from the body length, number and size of branches, connection type, pressure rating and options. Send us your dimensions and we will get back to you with the price and lead time.
Do I specify the body length and number of branches myself?
Yes. Length, number/size of branches, outlet directions and center-to-center spacing are all made to your drawing. You can make your selections in the configurator and print an A4 technical drawing.
