Minol Zenner ETKD / ETWD Series

ZENNER ETKD and ETWD are single-jet water meters with a low, compact body, designed for individual consumption billing. ETKD is the cold water model of the family and measures clean potable and domestic water up to 50 °C.

The impeller rotation is transmitted to the dry register, which is separated from the water, via a shielded magnetic coupling. The register can be rotated 355°, so after installation it can be turned to face the reading direction.

Why Minol Zenner ETKD?

The low body of the ETKD makes installation easier in narrow shafts and manifold cabinets; since it is suitable for both horizontal and vertical installation, no separate model is needed for different pipe orientations. The meter can be purchased without a module and later upgraded to remote meter reading by fitting a radio or M-Bus module.

Installation, Reading and Re-verification

The meter is installed in the cold water line with the arrow on its body pointing in the direction of water flow. The measuring range is R80 for horizontal installation and R40 for vertical installation. A strainer upstream of the meter and a valve on each side make maintenance and replacement easier.
