KAS - Ball Valve with Strainer
A ball valve with strainer is a quarter-turn valve that uses a bored, rotating ball to control the flow passing through it.
It is open when the bore of the ball is aligned with the flow, and closed when the valve handle rotates it 90 degrees.
When open, the handle lies in line with the flow; when closed, it is perpendicular, giving visual confirmation of the valve position.
