Haustherm Heliroma ROMAKLIMA PP-R 100 + FG SDR 11 Pipe
The Haustherm Heliroma ROMAKLIMA PP-R 100 + FG SDR 11 Pipe is a three-layer co-extruded pressure pipe for plumbing installations with a glass-fiber-reinforced middle layer. Its raw material is grade PP-R 100; its minimum required strength (MRS), determined according to ISO 9080, is 10.0 MPa.
The main function of the glass-fiber middle layer is to reduce thermal expansion. While the expansion coefficient of single-layer PP-R pipe is 0.150 mm/m·°C, the glass-fiber structure brings it down to 0.035 mm/m·°C — on a 10-meter line with a temperature difference of 50 °C, the elongation is 17.5 mm instead of about 75 mm. This significantly reduces the need for expansion joints and fixed points on long risers. The glass fiber is only in the middle layer and does not come into contact with water.
