Specifications
- Operates over a wide flow range.
- Thanks to its Y-type body, pressure losses are low.
- Thanks to the connection holes on the body, the valve can be installed symmetrically.
- Pressure can be adjusted with a single adjustment screw on the pressure reducing pilot valve.
- Can be serviced without removing it from the pipeline.
- Valve length L conforms to EN 558 Series 1.
Paint: Epoxy oven-baked paint.
The Duyar Y-7005 pressure reducing valve is an automatic control valve designed to reduce a high inlet pressure to a constant,
lower outlet pressure regardless of changes in flow rate and inlet pressure.
It is a hydraulically operated, pilot-controlled, diaphragm-actuated globe
and Y-type valve.
When the outlet pressure exceeds the value set on the pilot valve,
the main valve and the pilot valve close drip-tight.
The control system responds with high sensitivity
to small pressure changes and, to maintain the desired outlet pressure,
instantly controls the main valve.
Pressure is adjusted with a single adjustment screw on the pilot valve. In water distribution networks with variable flow rates, it is recommended to connect, as a bypass line, a pressure
reducing control valve with a smaller diameter than the existing
pressure reducing control valve
to the network.
