The water pressure reducing valve lowers the pressure of high-pressure mains water and is designed to prevent damage to the pipework and
to the appliances connected to it.
The DN8 water pressure reducing valve is used for water treatment units and special applications.
DN8 Water Pressure Reducing Valves:
- Prevent the noise caused by pressurized water inside the appliance.
-By providing a steady pressure, they keep the sensitive mechanisms in water treatment units and beverage and coffee machines from being exposed to high pressure, preventing deformation.
-Ensure a linear (steady) flow of the fluid leaving the machine.
* Not for use with air or gas; designed for water only.
How Does a Water Pressure Reducing Valve Work?
The operating principle of water pressure reducing valves is based on the balance
of two opposing forces.
These forces are:
1- The force exerted by the compressed spring
2- The force exerted by the water pressure on the piston
If the spring force is greater than the force acting on the piston, the piston
moves downward; if it is smaller, the piston moves upward, and
this regulates the outlet pressure in a controlled way.
