KAS Angle Thermostatic Radiator Valve
KAS - Angle Thermostatic Radiator Valve – (Jack Type)
What Is a Thermostatic Valve?
A thermostatic valve is a two-part device fitted to the hot water inlet of a radiator; it keeps the room at the temperature you want, provides a comfortable environment and at the same time saves on your heating bill; these parts are the “sensing element (radiator thermostat)” and the thermostatic valve body.

KAS Thermostatic Valve Operating Principle
The desired room temperature is set with the scale on the thermostat. When the room temperature reaches the set value, the thermostat gradually (proportionally) pushes the pin on the angle thermostatic valve, throttling the water flow and closing the valve, which prevents the radiator from emitting heat unnecessarily. Since no hot water circulates through the radiator for a while, the room starts to cool again. When the room temperature drops below your setting, the thermostat automatically opens the valve again, letting hot water circulate through the radiator, and the room starts to warm up again; this process repeats continuously. (A question may come to mind here: “How often does it open and close?” The answer depends on how well your building is insulated.)
