GF Hakan Plastik Aquasystem PP-RCT Glass Fiber Reinforced Pipe SDR9
PP-RCT Glass Fiber Reinforced Pipe SDR9 is a pressure pipe made from PP-RCT raw material; it belongs to the SDR 9 wall series (PN12.5). It is used in drinking water, hot water and heating lines.
The glass-fiber-reinforced middle layer significantly reduces the linear expansion of the pipe when it heats up. It is preferred for long risers and hot water lines because it reduces the need for fixing points and expansion compensators. The glass fiber is only in the middle layer; the inner surface in contact with water is pure polymer.
PP-RCT (PP-R with a modified crystalline structure) offers higher strength at elevated temperatures than standard PP-R; because the same pressure rating can be achieved with a thinner wall, the internal cross-section is larger.
